Welcome, Tánsi, Aaniin, TaÅ‹yáÅ‹ Yahípi
Thank you for visiting our website! Maza-Gaga is a non-profit corporation owned and operated by a First Nations Family in Manitoba. Our goal is to bring traditional teachings, ceremonies, and workshops to people throughout Manitobaand to create meaningful connections to traditional practices for First Nations and non-First Nations people.
Who We Are
Together we are stronger!
In the Dakota language, Maza-Gaga means “mixed metal.” When a blacksmith blends metals, the intention is to enhance their qualities—building strength, flexibility, and resilience. Maza-Gaga carries this same belief: that when we come together through tradition, ceremony, and shared experience, the quality of our collective journey is strengthened. We grow stronger, more adaptable, and more resilient together. For this reason, the work of Maza-Gaga is not affiliated with a single tribe or community. Our services are open to everyone, regardless of where you or your ancestors come from.
